🌿 Today, I will trust that He is with me

“Today you will be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)

On the cross, one man mocks.
But the other turns to Jesus—

“Jesus, remember me
 when you come into your kingdom.”

And Jesus responds:

“Today you will be with me in paradise.”

In this moment,
Jesus does not ask anything more of him.

Just a turning—
a simple reaching toward Him.

And that is enough.

Not kept at a distance—
but brought near.
With Him.

Prayer 

Jesus,

Sometimes I feel far—
or unsure how to come close.

But when I turn toward You here in prayer—
You are already here.

Not later,
not once everything is figured out—
but right here.

Help me to trust
that I don’t have to earn nearness.
That I don’t have to fix everything first.
That I can turn to You—
just as I am.

And that even now—
You are here with me.

Amen.
