🌿 Today, I trust God with the step before me

Before the garden,
before the long night of prayer,

Jesus spoke these words:

“The hour has come.”
— John 12:23

The moment was no longer ahead of Him.

It had arrived.

From here, everything would move toward the cross.

And later, in the garden,
that path would be surrendered fully to the Father.

Moments like these were not separate from the garden—
they were part of what led to it.

There are moments like this in our own lives too.

Moments when something becomes clear.

When we realize:

This is where I need to trust God.

This is the step.
This is the path.
This is the moment.

And often, those moments feel weighty.

Not because something is wrong—

but because something real is unfolding.

A Prayer for Trust in the Moment

Jesus,

When the moment before me becomes clear
and the path feels weighty,

help me trust You.

Give me courage to take the next step
even when I do not see the whole picture.

Remind me that You are already there,
walking ahead of me.

And that I do not walk alone.

Amen.

We can trust when the moment becomes clear,
God is already present within it.
