đż Today, I will steady my heart in what He has already spoken
â
Do not let your hearts be troubled.â â John 14:1
Before the cross, at the Last Supper,
Jesus speaks to His disciples about what is coming.
They donât fully understand it yetâ
but everything is about to change.
And into that moment, He says:
âDo not let your hearts be troubled.â
A word spoken ahead of timeâ
meant to be held onto
when things feel uncertain.
Not because everything will make senseâ
but because He already sees whatâs ahead.
And His peace meets us there.
PRAYERÂ
Jesus,
When things feel uncertain
or not how I expectedâ
steady my heart in what You have already spoken.
Help me trust You
even before I understand.
Give me peace
in the middle of it.
Amen.
