🌿 Today, I will make space for grace

“Father, forgive them…” (Luke 23:34) 

This part of the journey brings us to the cross—
but it doesn’t end here.

Even here, Jesus speaks forgiveness.

Today, we don’t have to make things right—
we can begin with a small softening, and let grace meet us there.

Prayer 

Jesus,

You see what I’m holding—
what hasn't been made right,
what still weighs on me.

Help me not to grip it so tightly.

Give me the willingness
to soften—
even just a little.

Teach me to make space
for grace,

and to trust You
with what I cannot yet let go.

Amen.

    Thank you, Marissa for this very moving message. Things can weigh heavily upon us all and it can get overwhelming. But, as you said “we can begin with a small softening and let grace meet us there”. To start with small steps, to let go, to trust, already knowing in our hearts that He will work within us to forgive, and still have this love for us all. There are no words for the immensity of that kind of love…
