đż Today, I will return to love
âDo you love me?â â John 21:15
After appearing to His disciples behind locked doors,
Jesus meets them again by the water.
They are fishing.
He prepares a fire.
They sit together.
And then He turns to Peterâ
the one who, days before,
had said he didnât know Jesus because he was afraid.
And asks:
âDo you love me?â
Not to replay what happenedâ
but to heal it.
To meet him
in the place he had pulled awayâ
And bring him back
into relationship.
Today, we donât have to replay our pastâ
we can be restored
right where we are.
PRAYERÂ
Jesus,
You know the moments
I wish had gone differently.
The times I was afraid.
The times I pulled away.
And stillâ
You meet me there.
Not to bring it all back up.
Not to measure or correct.
But to lovingly restore.
To bring me backâ
and welcome me again.
Help me to receive that.
To not stay in what I regretâ
but to return to You.
And to trust that
even when I have distanced myselfâ
You have not left me.
Amen.
Â
Oh Marissa, come onđ HE creates a moment where Peter can respond differently. đ¤Żâ¨đ¤Š OH HOW AWESOME IS OUR GOD!! đâ¨âĽď¸ and to know that God in his tender mercy, does that for us as well. And not to shame us, but to grow us, and to restore us. He is our Redeemer. We are ransomed by His blood through HIS great love and nobody can ever snatch us from His hand. đЏâ¨đĽ Blessings Marissa and family. And blessings to all others that have joined Marissa and been blessed by her heart and talents. Keep sharing truth, Marissa and may God bless you every word. When I cannot find the words so eloquently, I just state the obvious âainât nobody ever gonna love us like JESUS.â đđď¸đЏâ¨đđšđ
