🌿 Today, I will receive His peace right where I am

“Peace be with you.” — John 20:19

Later in the evening on the day they found the empty tomb, the disciples were gathered behind locked doors.

They were afraid.
Uncertain what would happen next.

And then—

Jesus stood among them.

He wasn’t kept out by the doors.
Or by their fear.

He came right into the middle of it
and said:

“Peace be with you.”

Not because everything around them had suddenly settled—

but because He was there.

Alive.
Present.

And bringing peace with Him.

🌿 Today, I will receive His peace right where I am

PRAYER

Jesus,

You see the places in me
that feel uncertain…
closed off…
or unsettled.

The places where I don’t know what comes next.
The places where fear quietly lingers.

And still—You come near.

Not held back by what feels closed.
Not stopped by what feels heavy.

You step right into it.

And You speak peace.

Help me receive that today.

Not because everything is figured out—
but because You are here.

Let Your presence settle what feels restless.
Let Your peace reach what feels guarded.

And remind me—

nothing can separate me
from the peace You bring.
