šæ Today, I will receive what has been given
Jesus had already wrestled in the garden.
He had already surrendered.
So when the moment cameā
He did not wrestle again.
He accepted.
āShall I not drink the cup the Father has given me?ā
There is no resistance here.
Only a quiet willingness
to receive what has been placed before Him
Sometimes we want another way.
But not everything we could change
is meant to be changed.
And sometimes peace comes
not from escapingā
but from accepting.
A Prayer
Jesus,
You did not turn away
from what was given.
Help me stay close to You
when I want another way.
Teach me to trust You hereā
and to receive
what is in front of me today.
Amen.

I have really appreciated your Easter messages leading up to crucifixion day.
It is challenging all of us to dig deeper and trust the path God has laid out for us to follow.
