🌿 Today, I will bring my honest words to God—even when they are hard

“My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46)

Sometimes we think
we need the right words
before we come to God.

But here, Jesus shows us something different.

In the middle of suffering,
He speaks what is true.

Not polished.

Just real.

And in the same way,
we don’t have to hold anything back.

Even when the words are hard to say—
we can bring our whole, honest hearts to Him,
and trust He understands.

Prayer 

Jesus,

Sometimes what I feel
is heavy,
unclear,
or hard to even name.

But You show me
that I don’t have to hold it back.

Even when it feels distant—
even when doubt or frustration rises—

I can still come to You.

Help me to be honest
with what I’m carrying.

To not push it down,
or turn away—

but to bring it to You.

Give me the courage
to speak what is true.

And to trust
that even here,
You receive me in it.

Amen.
