🌿 Today, I will come closer and let Him meet me where I am

“Stop doubting and believe.” — John 20:27

After the resurrection,
Jesus appears to His disciples—but Thomas isn’t there.

When the others tell him what they’ve seen,
he isn’t ready to believe.

About a week later, Jesus comes again—
and this time, Thomas is there.

And instead of turning him away,
Jesus invites him closer.

“Stop doubting and believe.”

Not as pressure—
but as an invitation to come near
and see what is true.

A reminder that we don’t have to stay at a distance—
even when we’re unsure.

Prayer

Lord,

You see the places where I’m unsure—
the questions I still carry.

Thank You that You don’t turn away from me there.

Help me come closer,
and trust You with what I don’t yet understand.

Meet me in this moment
and lead me into what is true.

Amen.
